Privacy policy

Last updated 21 October 2026

Ty Digital is run by me, Titus Kam. This policy explains what personal information this website collects, why I collect it, and what you can do about it. I've kept it short and in plain English.

What I collect

  • When you email me. Your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
  • When you book a call. Bookings run through Google Calendar's appointment page. Google collects your name, email address and any notes you add, and shares them with me so I can run the call.
  • When you browse the site. Google Analytics, set up through Google Tag Manager, records how the site is used: the pages you visit, how you found the site, your device and browser, your approximate location (to city level) and the buttons you click. It uses cookies to do this. I use it to see how the site is used, not to identify you.
  • To run the site. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the site secure.

How I use it

  • To reply to you, run calls and do the work you've asked for.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To measure how well my own marketing is working.

I don't sell your personal information, and I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.

Who it's shared with

Only the services that run this website and my business: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Calendar and email) and Vercel (hosting). These providers may store information outside New Zealand and Australia, including in the United States, under their own privacy and security terms.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies, such as _ga, to tell visits apart. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.

How long I keep it

Emails and booking details are kept for as long as we're working together and for normal business record-keeping after that. Analytics data is kept for a limited period set in Google Analytics, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, and ask me to correct or delete it. Email titus.kam@tydigital.co.nz and I'll respond within 20 working days. I handle personal information in line with New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 and, where it applies, Australia's Privacy Act 1988.

Questions or complaints

Please contact me first and I'll do my best to sort it out. If you're not happy with my response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner in New Zealand or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

If I change how I handle personal information, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
